Getting Standard Life pension customers online with a cinema promotion

What's the problem?

Standard Life wanted to boost the number of Standard Life Pension customers using their online account service. They wanted to increase sign-ups by offering a Cineworld adult 2D e-code ticket to existing customers who signed up for an online account. That’s where we came in!

What we did

We sent 40,000 existing Standard Life Pension customers an offer by email that allowed them to register for an online account. Those who registered were sent a unique code to enter into a specially-created promotional website. Each participant was then sent a complimentary adult Cineworld 2D cinema e-code ticket.

We also:

  • Designed, built and hosted a promotional microsite
  • Provided 40,000 Cineworld adult 2D e-codes
  • Handled all negotiations and dealings with Cineworld
  • Sent weekly application reports to the client
  • Provided a dedicated customer services email address for cinema-related consumer queries and managing of inbound enquiries
